I recently joined the Alchemic Dream team to handle all Business Relations activities. My day-to-day tasks generally revolve around following up with current and prospective clients to make sure we have the best possible understanding of the present opportunities and future trends that we can help them scale into. By building and maintaining such close-knit relationships, we ensure our role throughout the life of their massively multiplayer online game software product proceed smoothly.
In my spare time I organize the ION Game Conference, write, paint , play the cello and take long hikes with my dog piper and try to bike 300 miles a week!

Thanks for your note. You'll have to remind me if we've met before, as I can't recall - I'm guessing that you recognized us from the fact that you are the Executive Director at ION, where Parature is a sponsor!
I will check for you but I would prefer to talk about OGDC stuff privately especially since the Virtual Worlds connect folks do a series of events. You can email me directly for ogdc matters or give me a shout.
I started a company called VRWorkplace to bring geographically distributed workplaces together as if in person for work and play. I am a former IT outsourcing executive (US/India) and know this would have worked tremendously well to bridge the gaps in culture. I would be happy to be in touch. Best regards, Dave
We did have a booth at Cyber Games, which two of our guys manned while I was in NY. They didn't think it was worth it in the end - not much traffic. I won't be at Virtual Worlds - I've to to keep writing music for an Ubisoft Shanghai game.
I had a meeting at Sierra Online last week, and was going to try see if I could drop by and pick up the CD's, but I was to tight for time. I'm sure I'll be out there again.
I couldn't make it to the lunch at Qwest Field because I was in New York, speaking at the Audio Engineering Society convention. They suddenly discovered games this year - as the music labels die they're looking around for other things. Games are finally getting a bit of respect in that area - they really had no idea how much is involved and how sophisticated things are for audio in games these days.

I got an invite to GDC prime yesterday. I couldn't believe the cost? $2500- $3500 , I wonder if they have good food? It seems a little like CMP wants to move in on DICE?
