Myrl in Events Review

We’ve been interviewed for Events Review/Meeting Review about virtual worlds, Top Story of the Day… But what I’m really loving is the pic caption: “Life changing: D’Orazio’s virtual avatar… and friend” LOL. The article is about the growing integration between virtual worlds and the web.. here’s an excerpt: ”Paul Jackson, an analyst at Forrester, warns that interest in virtual worlds has waned since Second Life consistently made the headlines last year and says that it’s “time to move to version 2.0,” where [...]

Second Life - OpenSim Interoperability, part 2

After reporting previously (5th of June) about an avatar border crossing between SL and OpenSim, it’s in the news again today that IBM and Linden Lab have been working together on this new interoperability milestone. While this is great news and we all look forward to hear more about this, I think the most interesting part of [...]

Hi, Myrlit,
We have a payments and digitalID platform that will be used in our upcoming payments service for VW and MMOG. Could we discuss possible avenues of cooperation with Myrl during the conference? Or maybe just exchange e-mails for a start?
Regards.

Hey! I'm still learning the ropes on this network and thought I should ask the guru himself (that would be you) for a little guidance...

If i want to start a discussion on law and virtual worlds in the forum what do you think it should come under? Business, Education or Media/Marketing? Of course it will say something about The Developing Web (which would suggest Media/Marketing) but I wouldn't mind it becoming an on-going discussion on legal issues and virtual worlds. Any ideas?
