Do you live in more than one virtual world?

Do you live in more than one virtual world? Are you carrying on businesses in multiple worlds at the same time? Which worlds are you in? I'd like to start a discussion to try to understand better how many of us live in one single world at the time or live in the middle of multiple worlds and like to carry on cross-worlds activities.
Usually for mmorpg is seems more normal for people to live in a single world at the time; I think it may be pretty different with social virtual worlds. I'm involved at the same time with Second Life and There, sometimes Kaneva, World of Warcraft and Guild Wars. What about you?

I roam across Second Life, There.com, and Kaneva. I have a virtual office in 2nd Life primarily because of the in-world building tools and the recent addition of voice. I still find the voice features on There.com to be superior to those in 2nd Life. On the other hand, I found the groups in 2nd Life to be much more technical than those found in There.com. I'm keeping an eye on Kaneva, it has some interesting social aspects but the 3D capabilities are rather limited. There.com has a much more open landscape than either 2nd Life or Kaneva so movement feels much more natural there. 2nd Life has some serious performance issues that take away from the VR experience. Laggy SIM crossings, teleport failures, SIM overloads, half-baked avatars, and limited modeling tools all leave me a bit bummed... but I guess you have to take the bad with the good. For now I'll continue to roam until I find (or build) the one place that has it all! Sony is preparing "Home". It will be interesting to see how it compares to the rest of the virtual worlds that are in existence today....

way as .html pages? The aggregate of these 3d pages would be the 3d web.
These 3d web pages are the descendant of .html... it is text editable and open source
and can uses Javascript(like .html but with an added z axis)
With this technology you can create entire worlds like SL or more controlled web pages,
such as a corporate webpage who could easily set up a private chat server(in this case,
the web page is just a url you type right in your browser). With this technology,
you can choose the level of 3d you want.... do you want spinning logos? or a full fledged world?
or just a rotatable product?
I think 3d should just be accessed in the browser. IT would be great if some Worlds
would use this same technology then Avatars can absolutely, and totally easily be portable.
I guess VRML is considered old technology, but in my opinion, they made their conclusions too fast.
Its only recently has computers been able to catch up to VRML and now its already possible to create
a photorealistic scene navigagle directly in your browser.; ▶ Reply to This

For 3d, flash would work for interface elements. But Im kinda 3d boy and maintaining the 3d data is important, so that in the future these files can be viewed in
holographic or goggled or whatever 3d. Flash in 3d are just prerendered-images sequenced...

After dealing with the venture capital community I have decided to boot-strap the effort on my own. Once I lock down the hardware, I still have to implement the final APIs. The software will be completely open-source and there will be no licensing fees to develop for the platform. The architecture will also make use of peer to peer file sharing so that 3D resources will not have to be downloaded from centralized servers.
