Do you live in more than one virtual world?

Do you live in more than one virtual world? Are you carrying on businesses in multiple worlds at the same time? Which worlds are you in? I'd like to start a discussion to try to understand better how many of us live in one single world at the time or live in the middle of multiple worlds and like to carry on cross-worlds activities.
Usually for mmorpg is seems more normal for people to live in a single world at the time; I think it may be pretty different with social virtual worlds. I'm involved at the same time with Second Life and There, sometimes Kaneva, World of Warcraft and Guild Wars. What about you?

I would love to but given the complexities of living in one world ( or two, if you count Real Life as the other :-) i am a bit daunted by the thought of multiple clients, multiple avatars, and multiple of everything else ..

Actually I have been dreaming about a global avatar ID that would allow me to access any world but we are far from it. You may look up my thoughts on this here

time is an unbeatable variable but I still like to hop from one world to another instead of spending all my time in one.
btw, I hadn't read your interesting post, I just linked it here http://www.connectingworlds.net/

Second Life, Entropia Universe, There.com, IMVU, Multiverse and multiple beta's. It is hard to keep up that is for sure. It literally takes a team!

Although, admittadly, by business requires in depth knowledge about the platforms but not constant immersion. It is certainly getting hard to follow though!

I visit all the virtual worlds I can. However
I find that I usually choose one that is most suited for me,
and end up visiting there most often.
A persistent avatar throughout any web3d world would be very
convenient and useful.

agree on avatar portability. and so which is the world that suits you more now?

Sometimes I go in the NV Loft apartments so I can listen to the radio stations. See yua

been in Vside today, had a good impression, graphics is nice and smooth, lots of people around (obviously it depends ond the small size of the world)
but music is not! I guess before judging it I've to find the right place first, I'm quite obsessed and picky about music ;-) btw, haven't find you today, I'll try again to look for you next time

you can go to the apartments and select from a list of radio stations and restrict access to friends. their selection is pretty good from classical to rock to jazz to electronica. Not so much real hard metal/punk or hardcore hip/hop . I'm piccky about music too, but Vside just has a very good strong basic formula.. see you!
