Anyone been able to get uWorld version 1.20 to work?

The previous version worked alright.

1.20 displays a login screen. Upon pressing the submit button, a screen with a still shot and a progress bar appears, then nothing further.

The new shortcut in Start Programs is in Chinese. The old shortcuts were in English.

It's hard to even run the installation program properly when you can't read any of it and can't copy the text to paste into a translation program.

How does the previous version work in English? I notice the website for English settings instructions has been down 'due to the earthquake'. Is the performance as promised?

The previous version of uWorld ran on my computer, but it was all in Chinese.

Possibly you are getting uWorld and Hipihi confused.

The instructions for setting up a WinXP computer for Hipihi have been on my blog for many months now, on the page titled Hipihi. Hipihi does have a partially translated English interface mode which requires you to edit one text file after you install it.

I doubt there is an English version of uWorld yet. The interface of uWorld was a mystery to me. I don't understand what's going on in uWorld, the interface is in Chinese, and there aren't enough people there so far to count on anyone being around to answer a question.

I have sent email to the uWorld customer service department, which is cs@uworld3d.com, asking for help getting it running, and posted in the uworld company forums, but I haven't seen my posts appear yet.

My attempts to get an answer to the question of why version 1.20e doesn't work properly when version 1.20e have not yielded useful results, though I have received some responses from cs@uworld3d.com .

Eric Ye of Uonenet and uWorld is a LinkedIn member. Perhaps someone can make a contact through LinkedIn.
