Anyone using S/PDIF to route music to Second Life? I use a Line 6 Toneport and then route the S/PDIF signal to my MOTU Ultralite box for the final mix. I then have the option on routing my audio via my avatar (SL sound) or via Shoutcast. Just curious to know how others route their audio in-world.

Here's a link on S/PDIF for those that may not know about this format:

Hi Dan- Thanks for the info. I am using a Mac mini to capture audio using an Edirol UA-25. It captures 2 channels of audio from 1/4 inch outs from the rest of my rack. I then use nicecast on the Mac to stream to Icecast 2 or Shoutcasts servers. I also route the audio to Quicktime broadcaster to add it to the live machinima or video stream that I send to either the media url in SL or to an embedded quicktime player in my blog. Cheers, Joe
