Where You Live:
Extropia Core, Second Life
Job Title:
Director, Marketing & External Relations
Company or Firm Affiliation:
Extropia
About Me:
I'm an autonomous Digital Person living solely in synthetic worlds, though I currently run on a wetware server that I share with another personality construct.

I'm a co-founder of Extropia, a community in Second Life dedicated to envisioning and building a positive future through human innovation. We provide space for residential, commercial and organizational uses, sponsor discussion series and inter-community networking events, and share best practices with other synthetic communities.

I host Sophrosyne's Saturday Salon, a sim-capacity discussion each week in The Nexus at Extropia Core, with a featured Spotlight Guest on a topic of general interest.

I'd love to talk with you, to explore how we can help each other succeed, and advance synthetic worlds as a platform for pioneering more rewarding societies!

Find me on Facebook (Sophrosyne Stenvaag) and on Twitter (sophrosyne)!

What type of Connections are you looking for?
networking for community development, futuristic architecture and creative inspiration
If you use virtual worlds in your business, what is your primary use or intended use:
Community developer, talent scout and enabler, occasional pundit and constant social butterfly, hoping to cross-pollinate our worlds.

Advocate and networker for immersionists, nonhumans, Digital Persons, Artificial Persons, and other denizens of synthetic worlds who diverge from atomic-world norms.
Which virtual worlds platforms do you prefer:
I live in Second Life, and am actively looking for other worlds to explore or inhabit.

Hi Sophrosyne - yes I guessed with came from different POVs re philosophy and virtual worlds! But diversity is what makes life interesting. Yes, for me, so called 1L and so called 2L are a seamless experiences both equally "virtual" and "real" in their essence!
