There are all kinds of MMORPG’s (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games) out there, but many of them cost money to play, from the cost to download the software to a monthly membership. Do you want to play a fun MMORPG that is played by millions of other users, and is free? If you answered yes, then you may want to be checking out Flyff! This exciting online game, released in 2004, has a membership that is constantly growing, and it won “Best Game of The Year” from the South Korean Ministry of Culture the year it was released.

Flyff is short for “fly for fun”. When you play Flyff, you will be able to fly to far off destinations, and take part in combat. With 120 levels of play (and an additional 60 when you have completed the game), you will never be bored playing Flyff.

When you begin playing Flyff, you will be allowed to have as many as three characgters per server, with statistics that aren’t unlike other MMORPG’s, such as World of Warcraft. You will also have a number of different skills, jobs and weapons to choose from as well.

Flyff System Requirements

In order to play Flyff, you will need the following:

Pentium III 600 MHz

256 MB Ram (512 MB is recommended)

64 MB VGA Ram (256 MB is recommended)

Direct X 9.0c

Flyff Is Free!

With many other MMORPG’s, you get a free trial period, and then you have to pay for the software download. Plus, you may also end up having to pay a monthly membership fee to keep on playing your favorite games. With Flyff, you don’t have to worry about any of this. Flyff is free! The download is not complicated at all (anyone can do it, even your grandmother), and once you download it, the game is yours to play forever.

Don’t Try To Cheat!

If you try to cheat at Flyff, eventually, you will be caught, and that may be the end of you playing this fun game. Why would you want to cheat anyway? The whole idea of a game is for everyone playing to have fun, and cheaters make the game not so much fun for everyone.

If you are caught hacking the program, or distributing pirated software, you will be permanently banned from Flyff. The same goes if you are playing with people that you know are using cheat programs, or are advertising websites that offer cheat programs. You are also expected to report false incidents, and if you don’t, and this is discovered, you will be given a three-day suspension, and if it happens a second time, you will be banned. This is a really awesome thing, because it is in place to make the game better for everyone who just wants to play and have a great time!

This is a fun game for everyone to play. Just think about it…it’s not every day you get a chance to fly!

How would you like to play in a in a far-off galaxy, 20,000 years in the future, exploring and conquering 5,000 solar systems? This is what you will be doing when you play Eve. This fun and exciting game is a hugely popular MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) that is growing more and more popular by the minute.

Eve is what is known as a “single shared virtual world”. In other words, everyone involved with Eve is a member of the same world and community. This game is operated on a number of shards, or multiple servers, so even if there are millions of people using Eve, you will only be interacting with up to 250,000 other players that are also in your shard.

Four races make up the Eve universe, and you will begin by being a character from one of these races. Unlike with many other games, the characters in Eve are not pre-defined, so you are free to do whatever you like with yours. You can choose from a number of occupations, including mining, becoming a mercenary, or do missions from non-playing characters (NPC’s) that are operated by the Eve system.

When you play Eve, you have the option of playing as a single entity, or in a group with others. This is a great way to meet new people and interact, and you can run corporations and create alliances as you work your way through the Eve world.

Learn As You Go

Eve may seem like a really complex game at first, but as you go along, you will learn more and more about how to get the most out of playing this online game. Of course, one of the best ways to learn is to get tips and techniques from other players. Joining a corporation as soon as possible will help, because there are many members of the corporations who have been playing the game for a while who are usually more than willing to help out newbies.

You can also get loads of great information from the in-game tutorials that are offered. There is an in-game help section, as well as a special “rookie channel” for newer players who want to learn more about Eve. And, don’t forget to check out the forums. Just remember, this is a complex game, and you shouldn’t expect to be an expert overnight. Just like any new thing that you learn, you need to have a little bit of patience when learning about the world of Eve, but you will have all kinds of fun learning.

Cost To Play

Yeah…okay…there is one drawback to playing Eve…you have to pay for it. You can purchase a monthly plan at a cost of $14.95, or sign on for one year for $131.95 ($10.95/month). But, the price is relatively low, and you get to play a great game with lots of other people, so, it’s really worth it in the long run. That’s not an overly high price to pay, considering you will have unlimited gaming time.

If you want to play an online game where you will start out as the big fish in a little pond (actually, you will be the chief of a small village in an ancient world), and play with and against millions of other people, check out Travian. Here is a game where you get to build villages, trade items with others, and go to war with them too!

Currently, there are more than 3 million Travian players, and there are usually over four thousands players online at any given time, so you will always have others to play with.

Start Small, Think Big

When you first get started in Travian, you will have only one building in your village. First of all, you will want to get your resource fields going, and get yourself some crops, which can be lumber, iron, food and clay.

Now, it is time to start constructing buildings. Once you have built your village, and have begun to have an economy, you can start building your army, which you can use for defensive or attack purposes. You want to increase population, and take control of as many other villages as you can.

As you go along, you will gain more buildings, and be shown different concepts, one of the most important being the wonders of the world. You will have finished the game when you complete the construction of a wonder in a Natar village.

Tribes

There are three main tribes in Travian, the Romans, the Gauls and the Teutons. Each tribe differs in how they are played, and their characteristics. The Gauls are the defensive tribe, while the Teutons are more aggressive. The Romans are balanced between defensive and aggressive.

Create Alliances

Travian is a great way to play online with others, and you can work together in a number of ways. Trade resources with others, ally with someone else, and defend other players. Alliances may have as many as 60 members, and there are offshoots of these alliances, such as wings and non-attack packs.

Navigation Bar

It is really easy to navigate your way through Travian, especially with the great navigation bar. On the bar, you will find such necessary items as a message alert (you can send and receive messages), reports about what is going on in your village, statistics that include the rankings of all other players, a map so you can see your village and your neighbors, an overview where you will find all of your resource fields, and a center in the village.

Play It Now

Travian is becoming hugely popular, and may soon even become one of the most popular multiplayer online games. After all, considering the fact that it does not come cheaply to play a number of other online games, having one that is free is a great choice, especially for those who are limited by not having a credit card or Paypal account.

To download Travian and get started building your villages, and conquering others, log on to www.travian.com.

If you are looking for a fun and exciting computer game, Fiesta is an excellent one to try. This is a game that you download onto your computer and then play online with millions of people.

In order to play Fiesta, you must create an Outspark account for yourself. Once your account is created, you just download the “client” and start playing. And, the great things, Fiesta is free! Loads of people are playing, so why not give it a try yourself?

System Requirements

In addition to having a keyboard and mouse, and DXL connection and Direct X or higher, in order to play Fiesta, you need the following system requirements:

OS – Windows XP or Vista

CPU – Intel Pentium IV 1.6 GHz

RAM – 512 MB (1GB is recommended)

Hard Drive Space – 3 GB

Graphic Card – nVIDIA GeFORCE MX

Installing The Client

The first thing you need to do, once you are sure your computer meets all of the system requirements, is download Fiesta. You can do this at the download page on Outspark. Then, the client will begin installation. There are step-by-step instructions for the installation process.

Ready, Set, Start Playing!

Fiesta is a really cool fantasy-type game where you complete quests until you get to level 20. You will begin by having a conversation with Elemental Helper Remi, who will give you instructions for your first quest, and send you to Healer Julia. She will tell you about health points and spirit stones, and how to use them. She will give you a few stones to get started, and you can purchase more from her later on as you need them. Julia will also be the one to send you on your first quest, which is a monster hunt, where you will kill Slimes and Mushrooms.

Quests

If you look to the upper right hand corner of your screen, you will see a Quest Notice icon whenever there is a quest for you. When you click on the icon, you will be given information about where your next task will be. You then go to the location, and look for the NPC’s (non-player character) that have glowing eggs floating over their heads. These eggs are your quests. A cracked egg indicates that you have already taken on that quest.

Another way to find quests is to press the shortcut key “M”, and you will see where each of the NPC’s are. If there is a pink exclamation point near the NPC’s name, there is a quest waiting for you. The exclamation point will turn green when it is time to turn your quest back in to the NPC. Keep checking your map for quests.

You need to collect as many quests as possible. Some may seem redundant, but there are rewards that you can use. If you want, you can get together with other online players and work together to complete tasks in shorter time periods.

This is just a short overview. Download Fiesta yourself to learn more, and have some fun!

More than 30,000,000 users worldwide are battling, trading, and mining resources in outer space. How are they doing it? They’re playing Dark Orbit, a two-dimensional multi-player online game that is set in outer space. This game, introduced by Big Point Games, was released in December, 2006, and quickly grew in popularity. You can find Dark Orbit on its own site, and it is also available on Syfy.com along with other popular games.

This game is huge, and meant for many, many players. When you begin, you choose which space-company you want to join. Once you have chosen your company, anyone else, even your friends, who are members of other companies, are now your enemies, and your goal is to destroy! You will be facing quests, destroying a specific amount of enemies for each quest. Watch out for aliens too!

As with many online multi-player games, you will need a keyboard and mouse to operate your space ship. You can have your ship outfitted with numerous items suitable for your battles, including laser cannons and rockets. In order to purchase ammunition, you will need credits, which you earn when you battle aliens and enemies. You can also buy the Uridium (a kind of money), using real cash.

Fight Your Enemies (And Aliens Too)!

In order to earn credits, complete quests, and gain honor points, you need to begin fighting your enemies, as well as any aliens that get in your way! During battle, if your ship gets hit, you will lose health points, and once your health points have been depleted, you will have to take your ship in for repairs before you can finish your quest, or begin a new one. Having a shield will give your ship some protection.

While you are playing, you will have the option of using two configurations, one for battle, the other for speed and/or escape. While on your quests, you will come in contact with alien enemies. If you are a beginner, you will be facing weaker aliens. As your skills improve, so will that of the aliens you do battle with.

Stuff To Buy With Your Credits

When you need equipment, you are only able to purchase it in the website itself. Some of the things you will want to buy to help you along your quests will include ships, spare parts, weapons, ammunition, and drones, which can be used to store extra weapons an engines for more power (you are allowed to have a total of eight drones). Don’t forget, if your ship gets damaged, your drones can be damaged as well. When your ship is totally destroyed, you will also lose your drones.

Enter Through The Galaxy Gates

There are four different kinds of Galaxy Gates in Dark Orbit, each increasing in the level of difficulty and rewards. Here, you will battle aliens on your own, without any help or interference. There will be waves of aliens, and if you conquer all of the waves, you will be rewarded handsomely.

World of Warcraft. We hear about it on television, the Internet, magazines, and newspapers. What exactly is it, and why are we hearing so much about it? Well, in a nutshell, World of Warcraft is probably one of the most popular MMORPG’s (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) in the world at the moment.

Why is this game so popular? World of Warcraft is a huge world, with thousands of people being able to interact with each other in this online world. Gamers can play with or against each other, and enjoy amazing adventures. This is just like being a character in a fantasy novel or movie, only you are the character! It is a great way to take a break from the hassles of every day life.

Another reason World of Warcraft is so popular is the fact that unlike other online multi-player games, you don’t have to stick to a rigid playing schedule. In this world, you can come or go as you please, and play for as long as you like with other players from around the world.

What is World of Warcraft?

This is a game set in a world of fantasy and myth, complete with epic battles, castles, dungeons and awesome landscapes. Players get to explore this virtual world, while engaging in fierce battles that are part of terrific story lines.

The basic story of World of Warcraft begins after the first three Warcraft games. The bad guys, the Burning Legion, have been driven from Azeroth. You get to decide whether you want to be one of these bad guys, or a member of the Alliance. There are a number of races and classes, and your spells and abilities depend on which class you choose.

There are 70 levels of play, so it is going to be a long time before you are bored with this great interactive online game.

What Do You Need To Play?

You don’t have to purchase any special software to play World of Warcraft, but you do need a broadband connection. You will also need a keyboard and mouse, and 15 GB of free space on your hard drive.

If you are using a PC, you will need to be using Windows, XP, Vista or 7. Mac users will need to use Mac OS X 10.4.11 or newer operating systems. Having 2 GB of ram is recommended for both PC’s and Mac’s.

The Downside: It Costs Money To Play

You will be able to play World of Warcraft free for one month. After that, you will have to upgrade, but you will probably be hooked anyway, and won’t mind paying to keep on playing. You can either purchase the game in the box, or a digital download, for around $20. Then, you will also have monthly membership fees, which range between $13 and $15 per month.

Payments for memberships are convenient, and may be paid by major credit cards, including Visa and Mastercard. There are other payment alternatives, including Paypal, using a prepaid game card, and having the fees added right into your telephone bill.

On June 23, 2003, Linden Lab introduced Second Life, a virtual world for the Internet. Since then, the number of users, or “Residents”, has grown into the millions, and is enjoyed by gamers worldwide. This virtual world is reminiscent of The Sims, but is completely online, and, if you are 18 years of age or older, you can do just about anything you can do in the real world. Just don’t forget to visit the real world once in a while too!

Getting Started

Although there are paid memberships available, this is a game that you can play for free, with minimal equipment needed. Unlike a lot of online games, which just give you a free trial period, then make you pay once you get hooked on the game, there is absolutely no cost to have a Second Life basic account. There is no software to purchase, and the download is free.

In order to play Second Life, you will need the following:

Access to the Internet

Computer

Operating system, such as Windows, Mac or Linux

Second Life Account

To get started in the Second Life world, you need to create your character. Once you choose a name, you can then choose an avatar, which can be customized in any way that you want. When you have your avatar completed, you are ready to begin enjoying your Second Life.

Pay For Premium Service

There is one drawback to having a basic membership: you can’t buy and sell property. There are paid monthly memberships that you can join, and you will be able to get involved in the Second Life world of real estate. Premium accounts are not all that expensive, starting at just

You Can Do Just About Anything In Second Life

This is a really great game for anyone over 18. There are absolutely no limits to what you can do in the virtual Second Life. If shopping is your thing, you can visit the stores. You can purchase property, sell items, chill at a bar, or watch movies and videos.

Second Life is a popular way to reconnect with old friends, and make new ones. With thousands of people playing any time you log on, there is always someone to chat with. In fact, there are actual corporations, government entities and others setting up accounts to attract business.

Make Money In Second Life

Each month, just like in reality, Second Life Residents use a currency called Linden Dollars to buy and sell products and services. Ways you can earn money include selling furniture and clothing, owning businesses and even giving tattoos. Other Residents may even hire you for virtual jobs.

The really awesome thing that has people going wild for Second Life is the fact that the Linden Dollars can actually be converted into REAL CASH! Money can be converted to US dollars through an exchange, and there are real people making real money with this online virtual world. Don’t expect to make a fortune, but there is some money to be made in Second Life.
