Google Analytics is probably the most popular web analytics product. It’s a really good service, and best of all it’s free.

However, not everyone wants to install Google Analytics on their site. Mainly, because they don’t want Google to have access to more data on them then necessary.

So what are some good Google Analytics alternatives?

Clicky

Clicky is great. It offers real-time tracking of your traffic. It has a simple, but easy to use interface. It’s easily accessible via your mobile phone, so you can track your stats wherever you are. The Clicky Pro plans starts at $9.99 a month.

Woopra

People really love Woopra’s nice looking interface. It has a web app or desktop client. Plus it has some very powerful segmentation features. I found Woopra a little bit clunky though in my experience.

Piwik

Piwik is a completely free, open source Google Analytics alternative. It provides semi real-time tracking. I saw semi, because when you start getting more traffic, it slows the system down and you have to use their archive feature.

Mint

Probably the best looking web analytics software. Mint is very simple, yet extensible by adding plugins called Peppers. The downside to Mint is that you have to pay $30 for a single site Mint license.

This is just a small sample of the available Google Analytics alternatives out there. Some others you may have heard of like AWStats, I don’t really recommend since their stats are widely inaccurate.

Social Bookmarking and RSS – These pretty much do what you think you do. They allow you to submit your links to social bookmarking and RSS aggregator sites. For social bookmarking, you can have it bookmark your url to all available social bookmarking sites, or randomly select a number of sites to submit to.

Article Spinner – SEO Link Robot includes a basic article spinner to create spin articles. If you don’t own a software like The Best Spinner, then this integrated one works fine.

Site Pinger – This allows you to ping your urls at a variety of popular ping services.

Email Verifier – This simple module tells SEO Link Robot to go out and click on all the verification links in your specified email.

Meta Indexer – This module is supposed to get all your paged indexed by submitting them to so called meta index sites. There’s over 3000 such sites included with SEO Link Robot.

Link Viewer – Here is where SEO Link Robot puts all the links you’ve created in the software. This allows you to use them with other software to increase their strength or just try to get them indexed.

All in all, SEO Link Robot is a decent product. The UI is a little plain, and I’ve noticed some hiccups here and there. I’m able to get about 60% of the sites in the software to work (creating accounts and posting), which seems normal.

However, for a $197 one time fee, it’s really hard to go wrong. As a cheap SENuke alternative for those who can’t afford the real thing, it’s not bad. Check it out for yourself if you need to get some good automated backlinking done for your sites.

Make sure you have a fast loading website, as not having one is the biggest mistake some webmasters make. People usually won't wait for a page to load, yet there are a number of sites online with way too long of a load time. The best web design tip that anyone can give you in relation to this problem is to make sure you use more text and less graphics. And that's all it takes. While loud graphics/animations may be alright on the eyes but these definitely slow down the load time of the site. For that reason, only use graphics if it's absolutely needed. If your site takes longer than 10 seconds to load, there's a good chance you're losing about half your traffic. One way to make sure your site loads faster is to check its performance using a slow connection, and then if it's taking too long just cut down on the graphics.

Do make sure your site is compatible with other browsers, that can be embarrassing if it's not. This way you can clear up any resolution issues that you have. You'll need to address them anyway, so it's best that you discover these annoyances before your visitors. Thus, to conclude, good web design isn't as difficult as it may appear. All you must do is keep the aforementioned suggestions in mind and handle all the little details. Start Small, Think Big

Fiesta is a really cool fantasy-type game where you complete quests until you get to level 20. You will begin by having a conversation with Elemental Helper Remi, who will give you instructions for your first quest, and send you to Healer Julia. She will tell you about health points and spirit stones, and how to use them. She will give you a few stones to get started, and you can purchase more from her later on as you need them. Julia will also be the one to send you on your first quest, which is a monster hunt, where you will kill Slimes and Mushrooms.

Quests

If you look to the upper right hand corner of your screen, you will see a Quest Notice icon whenever there is a quest for you. When you click on the icon, you will be given information about where your next task will be. You then go to the location, and look for the NPC’s (non-player character) that have glowing eggs floating over their heads. These eggs are your quests. A cracked egg indicates that you have already taken on that quest.

Another way to find quests is to press the shortcut key “M”, and you will see where each of the NPC’s are. If there is a pink exclamation point near the NPC’s name, there is a quest waiting for you. The exclamation point will turn green when it is time to turn your quest back in to the NPC. Keep checking your map for quests.

You need to collect as many quests as possible. Some may seem redundant, but there are rewards that you can use. If you want, you can get together with other online players and work together to complete tasks in shorter time periods.

Having a shield will give your ship some protection.

While you are playing, you will have the option of using two configurations, one for battle, the other for speed and/or escape. While on your quests, you will come in contact with alien enemies. If you are a beginner, you will be facing weaker aliens. As your skills improve, so will that of the aliens you do battle with.

Stuff To Buy With Your Credits

When you need equipment, you are only able to purchase it in the website itself. Some of the things you will want to buy to help you along your quests will include ships, spare parts, weapons, ammunition, and drones, which can be used to store extra weapons an engines for more power (you are allowed to have a total of eight drones). Don’t forget, if your ship gets damaged, your drones can be damaged as well. When your ship is totally destroyed, you will also lose your drones.
