On June 23, 2003, Linden Lab introduced Second Life, a virtual world for the Internet. Since then, the number of users, or “Residents”, has grown into the millions, and is enjoyed by gamers worldwide. This virtual world is reminiscent of The Sims, but is completely online, and, if you are 18 years of age or older, you can do just about anything you can do in the real world. Just don’t forget to visit the real world once in a while too!

Although there are paid memberships available, this is a game that you can play for free, with minimal equipment needed.
